Completed 20 projects including a dissertation project.
The dissertation was a solo project in which I programmed a 3D physics simulation in C# to scientifically test collision detection. Other projects had me working alone or in a team of up to 4 other programmers to create:

  • Games or applications in C, C++, C# and Java
  • Websites in HTML5, Css, SQL, C#.Net, ASP and PHP.

These projects were done on different Operating Systems (Windows and Linux) and for different hardware (PCs, Laptops) and consoles (Playstation, Xbox 360).

  • Often included additional customer instructions such as etching and asset tagging each computer or component.
  • I worked as part of a small team dealing with hundreds of computers a day.
  • Carried out necessary repairs to both computers and laptops, helping to ensure a high quality of service for our customers.
  • Each computer would be BIOS Flashed and imaged to customer specifications.

Hobbies and interests

  • Volunteered to be a part of the Model European Parliament - I was one of the first British pupils to take part, which included a two and a half day conference in Luxembourg simulating the concept of decision-making in the European Union.
  • I enjoy Computing and Gaming - I was a part of the Universities computer gaming club and was a part of the Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament Teams. I also enjoy trialling Beta software submitting bug reports that are clear and direct to help other developers with their testing.
  • Learning about Science and Technology - I subscribe to the New Scientist magazine as I find the new technologies and theories interesting and like to keep up to date with them.
  • Sports - I enjoy cycling and swimming and am an avid gym member.
  • Strong reader, Favourite Authors - Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan, Dan Abnett and George RR Martin.
